Bush repeatedly and deceptively used the attack on 9-11, and the false picture of an imminent threat from Iraq to use fear to lead the American people, their sons, and (disgracefully) their daughters, into war with a nation that had not attacked America.Given the magnitude of the Commander-in-Chief's "BIG LIE" to the American people, it is no wonder that American troops have been deceived into risking life and limb to a false battle cry - it is truly heartbreaking to realize that as of today (5/1/2007), well over 3,300 American troops have died in a falsely and fraudulently justified war. As evidenced by this picture below of a formation of Marines taken in Iraq sometime in 2003 or 2004, it is clear they were deceived into believing their patriotic sacrifice in Iraq was somehow linked to the attacks by Osama bin Laden (based in Afghanistan) and al-Qaeda,on America on 9-11:"9-11 - WE REMEMBER"
The proud warriors of Baker Company wanted to do something to pay tribute To our fallen comrades. So since we are part of the only Marine Infantry Battalion left in Iraq the one way that we could think of doing that is By taking a picture of Baker Company saying the way we feel. It would be awesome if you could find a way to share this with our fellow countrymen. I was wondering if there was any way to get this into your papers to let the world know that "WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN" and are proud to serve our country."

SEC'Y POWELL: I have no indication that there was a direct connection between the terrorists who perpetrated these crimes against us on the 11th of September, 2001, and the Iraqi regime. We know that there had been connections and there had been exchanges between al-Qaeda and the Saddam Hussein regime and those have been pursued and looked at, but I have seen nothing that makes a direct connection between Saddam Hussein and that awful regime and what happened on 9/11.
So why did/do the American troops think they are risking their lives to "REMEMBER 9-11" ???
Answer: The American troops were lied to by the Commander-in-Chief, President George W. Bush and his "lieutenants" - e.g., VP Dick Cheney, NSC Advisor Condoleezza Rice, and others. These should all, at an absolute minimum, be impeached, if not tried criminally for war crimes.
As America considers the twin major national security issues of:
1) millions of illegal aliens already having entered our country, and
2) the disaster from the undeclared, and therefore unconstitutional, and therefore illegal; as well as unjustified (no 9-11 connection, no WMD's), and therefore unnecessary (not a "just" war), and therefore immoral War in Iraq,
