It was clear in South Carolina that some pro-life votes were being drawn away from Huckabee by Thompson, which worked to McCain's advantage, allowing the CFR's McCain to win South Carolina, and to now be positioned as a front-runner (instead of Mike Huckabee) in the hugely important Jan. 29 Florida GOP Primary,which is itself antecedent to the 20-plus states on Feb. 5th "Super Tuesday."
