Summoned to Rome, Submitted Resignation
Announces Resignation in Press Conference, Scranton, PA, August 31, 2009
Pro-Life / Anti-Abortion Scranton Bishop Joseph Martino
'... Martino, who has no regrets and no doubts. "My devotion to the sanctity of life is a long-standing and visceral principle of my standard of acting and being," he said at Monday's press conference in Scranton. "We must work to overturn a profound cancer in our society, this sin of frankly murdering 50 million. We have become quite blasé about that, and that scares me very much." '
Pro-Life / Anti-Abortion Scranton Bishop Joseph Martino was summoned to Rome, and submitted his resignation.
Does this provide further evidence, in the wake of Pro-Abort Obama speaking at Notre Dame; and in the wake of the Archbishop of Boston, Cardinal Sean O'Malley and six Catholic priests, including two Jesuit priests (one very prominent, the current Chancellor of Jesuit Boston College, and the former 24-year President of BC), officiating at pro-abortion extremist U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy's Roman Catholic Funeral Mass in Boston, that it is ROME, THE VATICAN, THE POPE,and the JESUIT GENERAL who are in fact obstructing the Pro-Life Movement in America ? As evidenced by the fact that the Catholic Bishops in Michigan (2006), Georgia (2008), Montana (2008), Colorado (2008 and 2009), and North Dakota (2009) have all undermined Personhood Legislation to END abortion in their states ?
Catholic Bishops in North Dakota opposed state personhood bill which passed North Dakota House; opposition of Roman Catholic leaders helped defeat historic personhood bill in North Dakota Senate by 29-16 vote
- Judie Brown (ALL) article, April 3, 2009 - "NORTH DAKOTA BISHOPS NULLIFY PERSONHOOD!"
- Steve Lefemine (CCL) commentary, May 21, 2009 - The Vatican / Roman Catholic hierarchy is NOT pro-life !!!
(Including the Bishops, Cardinals, Pope, Vatican, Jesuit General)
