SUBJ: Our duty to do our part in rescuing America from her path of destruction
RECOMMEND: Formation and tasking of three new Class of 1977 committees
Dear Men of ‘77,
We live in a different world since September 11, 2001. As just one of the many indications of this, the West Point post that used to be open to the public, has been closed to even USMA graduates unless one has an express stated reason and purpose to enter.
Although the catastrophic events of 9-1-1 were a shock to all of us, the fact of catastrophe of some sort occurring was predictable. Furthermore, the inevitability of greater calamity in the future is an unavoidable certainty, unless this nation changes course, or repents, of its gross rebellion against the Almighty, Sovereign God.
One of America’s founding fathers, George Mason, who is known as the ‘Father of the Bill of Rights,’ made the following statement in the 1787 Constitutional Convention held in Philadelphia, on August 22d: “As nations cannot be rewarded or punished in the next world, they must be in this. By an inevitable chain of causes and effects, Providence punishes national sins by national calamities.” (Read II Kings 24:1-4)
I believe, as do many others, that the multiple calamities which occurred on Sept. 11th were the judgments of Almighty God upon a wicked nation. If you believe that God is Sovereign (which He is), then you must conclude that He either allowed, or caused the disasters in New York City, Washington, D.C., and near Pittsburgh, PA. (Psalm 9:17)
Some of you may be familiar with David Wilkerson, the New York City pastor in The Cross and the Switchblade. He said, that on September 19, standing at Ground Zero before the smoldering five-story-high pile of rubble, he cried inwardly, ‘Oh Lord, if every American could stand here and behold this awful destruction, they could come to the only possible conclusion: God is warning this nation to repent.’
Not only was Sept. 11th a divine judgment, but unless America repents of her great sins against heaven, the foremost of which I believe is the killing of unborn children in the wombs of their mothers (the shedding of innocent blood by abortion), then the United States will be subjected, by God, to further, increasingly calamitous, judgments.
One scenario that seems extremely possible is the attack of Red China, potentially with nukes, upon CONUS. It seems to me that one of the segments of American society that could suffer greatly would be the American military, including the US Army, in whose service we took an oath as officers, i.e., “I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic,... SO HELP ME GOD.”
Today, our most dangerous enemy is not the terrorists against whom we are waging an undeclared war, but just as Rome fell primarily because of its weaknesses and decay from within, so likewise, America’s most dangerous enemies today are domestic enemies.
My purpose in writing to you, fellow members of USMA 77, is because I believe we have both a duty and the ability to play a significant role in rescuing America from our present path of destruction, which is inevitable as long as we refuse to govern ourselves by “the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God” (1776 Declaration of Independence).
I see three key areas where we can organize ourselves, those of you who are willing. I propose organizing three committees, within the Class of ‘77, in an attempt, God-willing, to play our rightful role in restoring the Academy, the Army, and our Country. I hope to have the opportunity in our 3PM Class Meeting, Friday, 6 Sept to make such a motion.
1. Committee to Reverse the Feminization of the Academy and the Army
Not that any of us need reminding, but we of course were seniors in July 1976 when the first female new cadets arrived at West Point. Now females are cadet leaders, and women are leading men in the USMA Corps of Cadets, a perversion of God’s design. In 1990, the first female Brigade Commander was appointed. May God forgive us for failing to uphold His standards and created order wherein men, and not women, are to be warriors. This is a national security issue because feminization of our Armed Forces makes us weaker militarily.
2. Committee to Resist the New World Order
The oaths of office we took as newly commissioned US Army Second Lieutenants on June 8, 1977 bound us to defend “the Constitution of the United States,” not the United Nations Charter. Incredible as it may sound, there are domestic enemies, in the present administration and in various elected and appointed positions in all three branches of the federal government, including the military, who are pro-actively laboring to subjugate America into a global, socialist, one-world government. The ramifications are enormous, including the planned disarmament of the United States, and the buildup of a United Nations Military. See the US Department of State document, The United States Program for General and Complete Disarmament in a Peaceful World, Department of State Publication 7277, Disarmament Series 5, Released September 1961, on the internet at: www.newsmax.com/articles/?a=2000/9/8/95004 .
One of the leading organizations advancing this sovereignty-stealing agenda is called the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Formed in 1921, the CFR is based in NY City, and it is incredible to see the influence it wields, administration after adminstration, regardless of whether the President is a Republican or Democrat, because of the many key positions CFR members hold (e.g., Cheney, Powell, and Rice (R); as well as Clinton, Shalala, and Carter (D) are all CFR members). See a concise overview article about the CFR on the internet at:

3. Committee to Establish Justice for Unborn Americans
The first duty of civil government is to prevent the shedding of innocent blood. We must seek to establish justice for unborn Americans if we wish to implore divine protection from future calamities and bloodshed (“...bloodshed follows bloodshed.” Hosea 4:2) There are a multitude of ways, means, and methods that USMA ‘77 members can “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves” (Proverb 31:8), the innocent unborn in our nation whose death toll by surgical abortion alone has reached about 45 million.
Thank you for your consideration. I realize these issues are all controversial. Some of you may support one or two, and not another. However these issues will not go away, and I pray we will deal with them soon - our nation, the Army, and the Academy will suffer greater harm the longer we wait.
Jesus Christ is Lord of All Men and Nations,
Steve
