THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE - IN CONGRESS, JULY 4, 1776
When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

In consideration of the Biblical "Separation" of individual states, or possibly regions including several states, of the present United States, from a wicked, tyrannical, and covenant-breaking national government, it is interesting to compare the relative geographical size and population of various sovereign, independent nations of the earth today, with the geographical size and population of individual American states.
For purposes of illustration, the geographical size and population of 17 different nations will be compared with the American state of South Carolina (once a sovereign republic). Each of these 17 independent countries is smaller in both geographical size and population than the State of South Carolina:
SOUTH CAROLINA (2000 data):
Geography: 32,020 sq. mi. (32.0k sq. mi., total area)
Population: 4,012,012 (4.0 million)

Clearly, there are numerous sovereign, independent, recognized nations in the earth today, which are smaller than the State of South Carolina in both geographical size and population. The list would be larger if sovereign nations which are larger either in geographical size, or in population, were also listed.
For example, these are some sovereign, independent nations which are smaller in geographical size only when compared to South Carolina, but have larger populations: Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Republic of Georgia, Haiti, Israel, Netherlands, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, and Taiwan (Republic of China).
And these are some sovereign, independent nations which are larger in geographical size only when compared to South Carolina, but have smaller populations: Liberia, Mongolia, New Zealand and Oman.
Will South Carolina and/or possibly other American states one day become "separate" from a national government which continues to break our country's own national covenant, as well as the universal, eternal, immutable Laws of God, which are authoritative for all men, for all nations, for all time ?
