SUBJECT: Call for Mayor Bob Coble and Columbia City Council to Repent and Renounce their Endorsement of Sodomy; as per Letter from Bob Coble in "South Carolina PRIDE GUIDE, 2007, Columbia, SC," p. 4
1. Mr. Robert Coble has once again used his position as Mayor, on behalf of the City of Columbia and the Columbia City Council, to "welcome" the practitioners of Sodomy and their supporters to parade in Columbia's streets, as scheduled for this Saturday, September 22. This year's letter appears in the "South Carolina PRIDE GUIDE 2007, Columbia, SC," on page 4, entitled, "a letter from the mayor of columbia," and begins by saying, "Greetings ! On behalf of the City of Columbia and my fellow City Council members, I am pleased to welcome you to the South Carolina Gay and Lesbian Pride Movement's Pride Parade and March." The letter is signed, "Robert D. Coble, Mayor."
2. This constitutes a public and official welcome to the practitioners of Sodomy and their supporters by the Mayor of Columbia and City Council, on behalf of the City of Columbia.
3. Mayor Coble's letter addresses the issue of Sodomite civil rights. There is no civil right to commit acts of Sodomy. Sodomy is a CRIME, Against the Laws of God, Against the Laws of Nature, and Against the Laws of South Carolina. Leviticus 18:22 says, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." The design of the human body by the Creator makes it clear that man-on-man anal intercourse is Unnatural, as Romans 1:26,27 also addresses. And finally, the SC Code of Laws, Section 16-15-120, "Buggery" says, "Whoever shall commit the abominable crime of buggery, whether with mankind or with beast, shall, on conviction, be guilty of felony…"

4. The practice of Sodomy by a people is a threat to that people's safety, security, health and prosperity because in the Judgment of God, Who Alone is the Supreme Judge, Sodomy is an abomination. Mayor Coble's endorsement of Sodomites is a threat to our City, State, and National Security because it invites the Judgment of God upon all of us and our land, especially because he and City Council are leaders in civil government.
5. I call on Mayor Coble and City Council to Repent and to Renounce Bob Coble's Letter in the 2007 SC "Pride" program.
