Perhaps Glenn Beck, America's New Mr. Religious Faith Universalist, should re-read Genesis chapter 19.
(Sodom is destroyed by fire and brimstone from heaven, Genesis 19:24,25,28,29, KJB).
God specifically destroyed Sodom for their widespread sodomy.
