On-Campus "Project Condom" event: USC (Columbia, SC) students parade Condom Clothes

The Daily Gamecock (USC student newspaper)
March 6, 2008

Perhaps the taxpayer-subsidized University of South Carolina should be re-named the "Uni-perversity of Sodomy and Copulation" for its ongoing and repeated promotion of sodomy and fornication at on-campus events.

This lastest disgraceful promotion of wicked, immoral, and illegal behavior at USC took place on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 inside the Russell House Student Union, located on Greene Street, Columbia, SC. Sodomy ("buggery") and fornication are crimes according to SC state law (www.scstatehouse.net).

At an authorized event inside the Russell House Student Union, USC students competed in a perverse, so-called "fashion show" which included immodestly dressed female students parading "clothes [which] were made from condoms,..."

The debauched event was attended by "Hundreds of excited students" according to the University's student newspaper, "The Daily Gamecock" (see full article below).

"The event was designed to... break social stigmas surrounding sexual practices."

"Garments were made by various student organizations, including Voices For Planned Parenthood..."

CCL Note: "Planned Parenthood Federation of America" is the nation's largest chain of abortion centers, committing over one-quarter Million child-murders-by-surgical-abortion annually (over 260,000 in 2005-2006 fiscal year) [ "Planned Parenthood Reports Record Abortions, High Profits"
www.cnsnews.com/ViewCulture.asp?Page=/Culture/archive/200706/CUL20070615a.html CNSNews.com / June 15, 2007 ]

"Phi Sigma Pi's "Stylishly Biased" won first place, followed by the BGLSA's "Evil Woman Threads" in second and Voices for Planned Parenthood tied with the Feminist Majority Alliance League."

CCL Note: "BGLSA" stands for "Bi-sexual Gay Lesbian Straight Alliance" - a pro-sodomite student club officially recognized by USC, which advertises weekly meetings; this is yet more corruption of student morals. [ www.sa.sc.edu/omsa/eventscelebrations.htm - notice also, as further evidence of the depravity of on-campus actvities at USC, the presentation by the USC Women's Student Association on March 1 and March 2 of the profanely-named "Vagina Monologues" - is this the kind of university that South Carolina citizens want to subsidize with our state taxpayer dollars ?]

CCL Note: Sodomy, Abortion, and Feminism - the spirit of Jezebel was well-represented at this event !

The foolish female chair of "Project Condom" effused, "We're promoting healthy decisions, condom usage or abstinence." Another equally foolish female student regurgitated the politically correct message with which she has been brainwashed, that it is "responsible" to use "protection" [i.e., to fornicate with condoms]: "Third-year history student Aretha Cook" - "I wanted to see what they could do with condoms," she said. "It helps brings out awareness for responsible use of protection."

THIS is the anti-Christian message being preached to high school and college-aged young adults who attend government ("public") high schools and universities in South Carolina. In other words, in Biblical terms, young people are being taught to be fornicators, whoremongers, and whores at taxpayer expense. They are being "evangelized" by the false religion of secular humanism, and taxpayers, Christians and non-Christians, are helping to pay the bill. As usual, secular humanists and socialists want to re-order society according to their unbiblical worldview, using our taxpayer dollars !

Is it any wonder that within the last couple days there has been a national news story about the high rate of venereal disease among America's teenage girls !

"1 in 4 teen girls has sexual disease"
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080311/ap_on_he_me/teen_stds
March 11, 2008
CHICAGO - At least one in four teenage girls nationwide has a sexually transmitted disease, or more than 3 million teens, according to the first study of its kind in this age group.

Are we really this clueless in America ? Apparently so. It isn't a lack of "safe" sex [ fornication ] that is infecting these young people - it's the "Fornication is OK" mentality that teaches lies to young people instead of telling them the truth that Fornication is wrong, Fornication is immoral, Fornication is sin, and there are consequences to sin and immorality. God spoke through the prophet Hosea to the people of his day: "... seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I [God]will also forget thy children." Hosea 4:6. Children are losing their health and their lives because the adult generation of today has forgotten the law of God, and so either refuses, fails, or is unable to teach God's Law to the next generation -and the children are suffering as a result of the sin, fault, and failings of the adults ! ADULTS NEED TO REPENT !

USC is a taxpayer-subsidized SC state university, receiving over $180 Million fromSC taxpayers annually ( www.scstatehouse.net/sess117_2007-2008/appropriations2008/wms15a.htm ).

USC is overseen by a Board of Trustees, most of whom (16) are chosen by the SC State Legislature. USC is also regulated by the SC State Commission on Higher Education. And USC has a president - Dr. Andrew Sorenson.

See the end of this e-mail for a list of the USC Board of Trustees members, and SC State Commission on Higher Education commission members, and for their contact information, as well as contact information for Dr. Andrew Sorenson.

Please choose some to contact, and bring this outrage, and direct assault on the morals of young people (USC students) to their attention. Why should our tax dollars be used to undermine public morals, and therefore threaten the safety, security, and political prosperity of the State of South Carolina ?!

This debauched university should be de-funded. South Carolina taxpayers should not be forced to financially support the promotion of student fornication.

As President George Washington said in his Sept. 1796 "Farewell Address" -
"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, Religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of Patriotism, whoshould labour to subvert these great Pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of Men and Citizens."

Dr. Sorenson, and the USC Board of Trustees, and the State Commission on Higher Education: take note of the words of the President George Washington ! Are these words studied in anyhistory class at the University of South Carolina ?

According to President Washingon then, those who promote immorality, and those who commit immoral acts, are NOT Patriots - they are dangerously undermining our nation. Yes, fornication and sodomy truly are threats to our nation's political prosperity and to our national security.

George Washington - "Father of our Country" - Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army, chairman of the 1787 Constitutional Convention, first President of the United States (1789-1797):

"It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible."

God's Word is for all men, for all nations, for all time (Matthew 4:4).

Project Condom, held by S.H.A.R.E. and the Development for Sexual Health and Violence Prevention, entertained students

[ *** CCL Note: warning - the photo in the student newspaper includes a young woman immodestly dressed in a short, revealing dress, foolishly, disgracefully, and disgustingly constructed of male condoms ]

Hundreds of excited students attended Project Condom Wednesday night as the line stretched from the Russell House ballroom well before the show started.

The fashion show, in which clothes were made from condoms, was held by Sexual Health Awareness and Rape Education and Development for Sexual Health and Violence Prevention.

The event was designed to promote awareness and break social stigmas surrounding sexual practices. An abstinence garment was also featured.

"The models are really excited about it," Ashley Petitt, a third-year sociology student and S.H.A.R.E. chair of Project Condom said. "We're promoting healthy decisions, condom usage or abstinence."

One Condoms donated 1,000 condoms for each of the ten garments.

Jared Fennelly, Marketing Manager of One Condoms, acted as a judge for Project Condom.

Garments were made by various student organizations, including Voices For Planned Parenthood and Pastafarians.

"It was an amazing event," Fennelly said. "These people are going to be very successful. The University of South Carolina is taking lead and other universities will follow suit."

One Condoms is involved with 3,500 non-profit organizations, including AIDS Action.

Interspersed between garments were commercials relaying sexual health statistics and promoting abstinence.

Project Condom was well received, both as entertainment and information.

"I thought it was an interesting way to combine both fashion and awareness," said Erin Nicholson, a second-year fashion-merchandising student.

Andy Clifton graduated in December and came to see Project Condom, his first non-sporting event at USC.

"I wanted to see how creative people were," he said.

Third-year history student Aretha Cook attended Project Condom to experience the uniqueness of the event.

"I wanted to see what they could do with condoms," she said. "It helps brings out awareness for responsible use of protection."

SHVP Director Tricia Phaup said the students put a lot of work into the event.

"We're really proud of the hard work they put into it," she said. "They did a jam-up job."

Phi Sigma Pi's "Stylishly Biased" won first place, followed by the BGLSA's "Evil Woman Threads" in second and Voices for Planned Parenthood tied with the Feminist Majority Alliance League.

MAC cosmetics provided makeup for Project Condom.

"On behalf of One Condoms, I would just like to say you all did great," Fennelly said.
