A recent Gresham Barrett campaign ad claims he is a "Christian family man", yet apparently, applying the Sixth Commandment to all pre-birth children created in God's image is something about which Gresham Barrett disagrees with the Word of God. Gresham Barrett's pro-abortion position is not consistent with Biblical Christianity.
God says: "Thou shalt not kill (murder)." Exodus 20:13, KJB.
[ Notice, God does not make "exceptions" to His ban on murder, i.e., shedding innocent blood. ]
Gresham Barrett's position: Children conceived in cases of rape, incest, or life of the mother can not only be unjustly executed, but Gresham Barrett supports forcing Christian and other pro-life taxpayers to fund this unjust shedding of innocent blood (child-sacrifice) against our will. This is not liberty. It is tyranny.
To be a "Christian" means to believe in Christ, the Son of God (John 3:16, KJB), and to receive Him as Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10,13, KJB). Christ said, "Ye must be born again." John 3:7b,KJB. The Saviour which Gresham Barrett professes has said, "THOU SHALT DO NO MURDER" (Matthew 19:18, KJB). However, Gresham Barrett does not agree with the Son of God.
"Abortion" is just 20th/21st century "hi-tech" child-sacrifice.
