Pro-Abort Fred Thompson exposed at SC NRL's annual march and rally in Columbia

Large "Fred Thompson is NOT Pro-Life" sign shown to crowd of march and rally participants - flyers distributed exposing Thompson and SC Citizens for Life.

Like the Pro-Choice National Right to Life [sic] abortion-regulating incrementalists, their SC NRL [sic] chapter also endorsed Pro-Abort Fred Thompson. In his campaign commercials being televised in South Carolina, Thompson is touting the endorsement he has received from these Republican Establishment lapdogs, and compromised betrayers of both the unborn and the sincere pro-lifers who work to end their slaughter. Both NRL and SCCL have refused to back fetal "Personhood" legislation, the key to ENDING, and not just perpetually REGULATING the horrific crime of child-murder-by-abortion.

The Fred Thompson campaign bus was actually parked in the march assembly area prior to the beginning of the march. Steve Lefemine, Columbia Christians for Life, displayed a large sign, "Fred Thompson is NOT Pro-Life," to march and rally attendees --while Anne Rainville distributed flyers, exposing Pro-Abort Fred Thompson and the effectively "Pro-Choice" opponents of SC's fetal "Personhood" bill (H.3284/S.313 - the Right to Life Act of SC), South Carolina Citizens for Life [sic].

Almost 150 two-sided flyers passed out to march participants and rally attendees:

Fred Thompson is NOT Pro-Life !

Is SC Citizens for Life really "Pro-Life" ?

Anti-abortion rally takes political turn

Participants tout presidential candidates at annual event

More than 400 people spent part of their Saturday afternoon on the State House grounds after marching from USC’s Russell House for the 35th annual Stand Up for Life March and Rally.

But the anti-abortion rally was as much about supporting candidates in the upcoming GOP presidential primary as it was about saving lives.

A campaign bus for former U.S. Sen. Fred Thompson of Tennessee circled the block. Meanwhile, banners for Thompson, U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee waved, and campaign buttons were displayed on jackets and sweaters.

Marchers left USC’s Russell House at 11:30 a.m. and arrived on the State House lawn at noon. The keynote speaker was Phill Kline, Kansas’ former attorney general.

The Republican primary next Saturday as well as the unseasonably warm weather helped attract more people to the rally, said Holly Gatling, executive director for South Carolina Citizens for Life and one of the coordinators for the event.

Diana Stevenson, of Columbia, attended the rally to support the cause as well as Huckabee.

The rally “is a good opportunity for pro-lifers to encourage each other. ... And it’s a good opportunity to support presidential candidates,” she said. “Huckabee seems like he’s down-to-earth.”

Aiken resident Debra Baer has attended the past 15 rallies. She said she will vote for Thompson for president.

“Fred is supported by the National Right to Life, and I believe he’s the best candidate,” she said. “All (pro-lifers) are involved and are politically active because we’re concerned and want to change the laws, so we support pro-life candidates.”

Representatives of the Republican candidates were at the rally Saturday, but none of the candidates attended.

CCL's exposure of pro-abort Fred Thompson reported in Greenville News editorial blog
Thompson bringing his campaign to important first-in-the-South GOP Primary state of South Carolina: The first three weeks of Thompson's campaign through the end of September 2007 could be critical in determining whether his campaign gets traction with SC conservatives/Christians, and whether he marches on to the GOP nomination for Nov 2008, or, whether (hopefully), Thompson's campaign fizzles like fellow CFR-member, pro-abort, pro-embryonic-stem-cell-research-funding, pro-amnesty for illegals, anti-free-campaign-speech John McCain's campaign has nationally, though McCain is mounting an upcoming multi-SC-city "No Surrender" Tour, so he is still actively campaigning in SC.

Should Fred Thompson enter the 2008 presidential race, he would become the fifth member of the globalist, NWO's Council on Foreign Relations to do so, joining fellow CFR-members, US Senator John McCain, (former VA) Gov. Furthermore, former US House Speaker Newt Gingrich, also a member of the CFR, is also considering entering the presidential race later this Fall (perhaps if enough conservatives don't take the bait and swallow the lie that globalist, First Amendment free-speech enemy Fred Thompson is a "conservative")
